WHAT TO EXPECT? El Salvadorian Pupuseria approx 10 mins walk from Juayua Central Park, 3-4 outdoor tables, 6-7 indoor tables. Order by writing your choices on a piece of paper. Pupusas served with small side of salad and sauces.

POSITIVES- Amazing value super cheap meal. Pupusas stuffed with melted cheese. Lots of flavours to choose from. Staff were really friendly and even ran after us when we'd forgotten our takeaway box of leftovers.

NEGATIVES- A couple of the smaller pupusas we ordered were a bit chalky and less tasty but fine overall.

PAY / COST / PRICE - Pay by cash. Small pupusas 1-2USD, Large pupusas 4-5USD. Drinks 1-3USD. We had 3 small pupusas, 1 large pupusa and 3 drinks for 13USD.

Best pupusas I've had so far. Not too greasy, not too salty, not too doughy. The curtido (coleslaw) is also the best I've had. The service was great, very attentive. Server also spoke english which was a bonus. No wait time, ordered 3 of the standard size, came out within 10 minutes. Ordered 2 more after, which also came out within 10 minutes. We decided to come here after reading all the reviews. It was amazing. I had the Chicharrón Especial and my husband had the Locas . Both were delicious. The pupusas are crisp and not too doughy .
