KORK restoran — Restaurant in Hiiumaa vald

The view is unfortunately to the parking lot not the sea that we mistakenly thought. During our visit the regular dry white house wine had finished and they had substituted that to a extra sweet one (waitresses words). Also being a bubble bar I hoped they would have house sparkling wine also but they did not. The chef and waitress were fighting verbally with each other in front of the clients - some angry discussions about kitchen / drinks priorities that I as a client actually did not want to hear. Me and my friend really enjoyed out food though. Cheers...

Despite of little chaos the service finally was pretty good. About the food. I would give 7 from 10. Each dish had something off. Carpaccio - lack of seasoning. Duck breast - the chef probably ate another half because the duck itself was a very tiny one and vegetables were off as well. The taste was good but way too much selery and they used a very strong onion which killed everything else because it was too raw. The desert - a lava cake. 30 seconds too long in the oven. They used way too sweet chocolate, so bitterness and sweetness did not...

I joined a group outing here, not anticipating much in terms of food based on the sign/logo. Surprisingly, there were food options, and my gourmet hamburger with mushrooms, fries and salad (all that for 15€) arrived reasonably quick.

The meal was decent, and I felt satisfied, although the fries were a bit cold—understandable given the large group order.

To add to the positive side, they offered blankets when it got chilly. Overall, I'm content with the experience, and I'd likely consider returning for...
