Uulits — Restaurant in Tallinn

The location next to some busy road wasn't too special, but came in handy coming from the Tallinn Zoo. Restaurant was quite stylish. First thing that put me off though was the ordinary but moreover really loud music, making you feel more like you're inside of a mall or a gas station than in a restaurant.

Staff was relatively kind. We did have to order at the counter. The drinks and food were ready quite fast. There are two beers on tap and ciders are really expensive. Foodwise, my woman tried the Uulits burger while I went for the vegan burger. Apart from this one, they also have a vegetarian wrap. We both really enjoyed our burger, though missed a small salad or something more with the burger. It was a bit expensive for just the burger, especially considering we paid more than €7 extra for a portion of very delicious sweet potato fries with truffle mayonaise.

All in all a good experience but nothing special. I think €36 is a bit much to pay for a simple meal with one drink for two in Estonia, or anywhere for that matter. I also have to say I did get a bit of a stomac ache after the visit which wore off a few hours later (not sure if there's a connection but worth mentioning).

Yesterday i ordered from wolt a hamburger with fries and chicken wrap and was completely dissapointed.

First off, chicken wrap...like how can you mess up this bad on a wrap? Wrap was completely CHARRED and sloppily put together with one side having more proportion than the other, and the chicken my god. HOW. The chicken was also BURNT and almost completely inedible.

Second off, burger. Meat was delicious but the bun was completely soaked which made it harder to eat without making a mess. but was really tasty. Fries also were crispy and delicious nothing to complain about them...no seriously, really damn good fries.

The go to place for burgers. Everything is fresh and delicious, always. Last time I had the Chorizo burger, which was the right amount of spicy. The patty was amazing and the buns just amazing. The service is great and waiters/waitresses are always positive, helpful and happy to recommend you the burger or wrap in case you can't decide what to get. The atmosphere is nice, the music is always good and the prices for the burgers and wraps, considering the quality, are even a bit low (not saying you should raise prices!!). The only complaint I have is the price for the fries. They're great, but 4€ for fries is a bit too steep. All in all.. it is a lovely place and I will definitely visit this place again, most likely until I've had everything on the...
