Tokumaru Lõunakeskus — Restaurant in Tartu linn

Previous visit to Tokumaru in Kaubamaja – the location there is very inconvenient. It’s right next to a playground, so it’s extremely noisy. In Lōunakeskus, however, the location is much better. The tables are small but not too cramped. The food looks nice, and the dishes taste pleasant as well. I ordered Shoyu ramen—it had plenty of noodles, which were tasty, and the broth was delicious too. The downside of the dish was the meat. It had a very plain taste—just a simple piece of pork. It slightly clashed with the rest of the dish and stood out in a bad way. I was also disappointed with the "chili paste" add-on—I expected some spiciness or at least a bit of a kick, but in reality, it didn’t change the flavor at all. Overall, as a place for a filling lunch, yes, but as an authentic Asian experience, no. It lacks...

Half the tables had not been cleaned, after waiting for our food for 30 minutes and finally receiving it I had to ask to get our table cleaned.

Noodles were of suspicious texture, both overcooked on the outside and undercooked on there inside, not sure how they managed that.

Food was not very delicious, it was just ingredients thrown together and did not make a unified dish with a consistent flavor profile. Noodles were flavorless, vegetables were hard and tasteless, only the meat...

Wonderful food! Not always clear is it your order ready or not, because chefs just put order and once in Estonian saying number in super loud mall. And also annoying that only one terminal for order is working (the second one not working for a very long time).
