Venezia - Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Sidama

It is quite surprised that we could find a good Italian restaurant with Hawassa area, the location is near the Hawassa lake with nice and safe neighborhood. We were dining there around 20 people so the restaurant owner was suggested us to order some appetizers and with big combination boats for sharing. The food selection is variety with most of the pizza, salad, pasta, soup...etc, which almost you normally can choose. And the staffs are friendly and efficient to taking orders and services, it was great to have a place where you can feel relax and comfort to enjoy...

Venezia is a bit of an institution in Awassa, owned by Andrea, an Italian expat. There's the restaurant downstairs but most eat on the covered roof terrace from where you can gaze out over your car, the street and the house next door. Ideal to visit for tasting Pizzas.Still I wonder why it costs, 900 birr for takeway of spagheti with vegetables..Couldnt find any Italian flavors or authenticity?.
