Disappointed After a Great Start

We had been getting takeaway from this spot every day for 5 days straight, each time ordering three different dishes — and we were honestly impressed at first. The food was solid, and we appreciated the variety. So naturally, we thought we’d make it part of our daily routine.

But on day six, things took a turn. We came in at 1:30 PM — intentionally timing it to avoid the lunch rush — only to be met with a completely different energy. Not only were none of the items we wanted available (which, fine, things run out), but the staff offered zero alternatives. No suggestions — just a flat “you can come back at 5.”

As if our hunger was supposed to take a break and come back later.

What stung wasn’t just the lack of food, but the lack of effort or care. After being regulars for nearly a week, we expected at least some attempt to accommodate or even just a bit of sympathy. Instead, we felt dismissed.

The food might be good, but the experience? Inconsistent and, frankly, disappointing. We were rooting for this place, but they made it clear that loyalty doesn’t...

Worst customer services. The food is really good and so tasty however I would give minus points for their service. Firstly their phone was switched off due to which we couldn't call and make booking. We were 12 of us and when we walked in it seems no one was interested in serving us. There was space available yet we had to request twice to have the 2 tables merged. After taking orders they did not even had the decency to inform that their kitchen would close in 30 minutes and if we want to add more food items. By the time we had the order delivered to the table their kitchen got closed. The portion quantity was small. I would not recommend...

The 4 curries we had were rich and spicy but had very similar sauces despite supposedly coming from different Indian states. The quality of the ingredients was average but understandable (we're not in Melbourne). Food presentation was great and the naan bread fantastic. So was the marsala tea - hot and strong.
