Unfortunately the service was very poor. The manager on duty made no effort to resolve an error with the order and the fish being over cooked and dry. She showed no concern and was unwilling to make adjustments. This was very frustrating considering all the effort, time and fatigue involved in international travel. Consideration and showing some human decency to customers is a basic expectation. The rest of the staff was dependent on her to make the decision about the issue. However, she just seemed to not care at all. I have every intention to travel back to Fiji, but not to this restaurant. We had a very poor experience at Bula Bistro during breakfast at Nadi Airport. After waiting around 10 minutes for our coffee, we kindly asked for our muffins to be warmed slightly. Unfortunately, they arrived completely cold and brittle. They were so dry that every piece crumbled upon touch—absolutely inedible.

This was hands down the worst muffin we’ve ever had, especially considering the price we paid. Was supposed to be choc chip. Spot the chocolate. For an airport bistro, we expected a basic level of quality and service, the coffee came way after the dry crumbled up muffin but this was unacceptable. This is a message for management, please encourage your staff to talk to the customers as your ordering system is not straightforward. I stood in front of four people at the coffee counter for a long time while they completely ignored me. I eventually asked them if they were open and they sent me down to the ordering end. I stood in a line for 10 mins, ordered my coffee and then went back to the coffee counter and stood there watching the 4 staff chatting to eachother (still ignoring me).
