Well, we have eaten here as a family on numerous occasions but seriously, there is nothing much to write about this outlet in Tappoo City, Suva. Unfortunately, despite being managed by a chef claiming to be from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India - the quality of food is relatively sub-standard. On my last visit (November 2019) we brought a couple of Idli's stuffed with coconut chutney and Medu Vada's. Both snacks were made very well and were comparable to qualities one would associate with South Indian Cuisine. However, as we ordered Mysore Dosa and a Vegetarian Thali for our lunch later in the day - the entire food was disappointing and had no value for money paid. The Mysore Dosa was the most ridiculous concoction I have come across in all the years of International travel undertaken by me. Has anyone eaten a Mysore Dosa stuffed with English Cabbage, grated radish and sliced onions? The accompanying Sambhar was simply inedible. The 2 different flavored chutneys were the only saving grace for the Mysore Dosa. The vegetarian thali was a joke and total waste of money.

I LOVE MADRAS MASALA there is not much i can say above it i absolutely absolutely lovvee the place and its food. But be warned it is spicy but very true to Indian flavors. I dont think i have ever gone to tappoos and not bought food.

Really good South Indian food in Suva. There's paid mall parking available. Their best dish was chicken paratha. Had their Dosa and samosas which were good as well. Everything was fresh and hot.

LOVE IT! Always delivers on taste, flavours are always well incorporated into the meats and the veggies are always yum and the staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! A must when going into Tappoos City. Im very sensitive to chilli but their food is not too spicy amd if it is, its worth every bite. Leaps and bounds above the so-called Indian...
