Moments Cafe is located opposite Ganilau House and Village 6 in Central Suva. Its a short walk away from the wharf and the busy Suva market. It does not offer parking but is more of a "drop by, sit and quick eat" sort of place. The ambience is nice, it has a slightly elegant feel about the place but lacks some energy. Its a nice place to have a decent pie or cake and hot drink. The Tea is served in a pot with a stand and a small flame to keep it warm. That's a nice touch, as the tea is kept hot no matter how long your cuppa takes. The hot meals are OK. Tried the T-bone steak with mushroom sauce and fries. Meat was slightly chewy so you may need to ask them to soften it up abit for you if you're not too used to it. I suspect it was reheated as it didn't come out piping hot. They don't serve wine or beer at the moment so meals are had with some other beverage....juice, smoothies, coffee or tea. If you're not too choosey with your meals, this would be a good starting point, but not very high on my list for a place for dinner, may be better for breakfast and...

Bought a regular flat white.. n service lady didn't close cap firmly. .enough to seal contents in. Lifted to take sip n the very hot brew spilled all over my thighs.. McDs got sued for millions of dollars for a similar incident..few years ago.. (only in America )..anyways.. will be cautious next time.. wow.. 2024.. and 5 years on n I finally get to re-experience Moments.. but this time, it's a beautifully done and greatly refreshing iced coffee on this hot & humid April day. the place has changed a lot... much more pleasant environment, they've packed in a lot of seating to cater for the large crowd that frequent this set up.. love the couch thing along the wall at the small bar.. very comfortable,.. love the decor and the prompt n friendly service.. from my original 3.. to...
