Craig's Place Diner — Restaurant in Western

I have been a returning customer since this place started and it is clear that the quality is no longer there.

The staffs are friendly and atmosphere is nice too but we all pay for the food too.

Maybe the chefs changed or something else but clearly something has changed as it’s evident in the food. We order our regular chicken strips and fries and this time around we ended up getting two fish strips mixed with the chicken strips. Keeping in mind we have someone who can’t eat fish at all and it was on both our servings. The fries were over cooked and cold but the chicken strips were well cooked but it wasn’t seasoned at alll. We have been an always returning customer and It costs about $40 to $50 for 1serving of fish and fries with 2 serving of chicken strips and fries .Hope y'all start bringing in the standard we are accustomed to.

Firstly the food is as good as the name. The Diner is a popular stop over destination for many travellers going to & fro from Suva to the West & vise-versa. Service delivery and staff assistance are prompt..you dont really wait that long upon giving your food orders. Located next to a mobile station & a supermarket, its a great place to stop by to grab sth to eat or to take away. Theres a BSP ATM if you wanting to withdraw but other than that...love the place and love love the food, price varies and is moderately cheap depending on ones budget. Just a heads up - Craigs diner does not sell meals/combo like McDonalds, Burger King etc. Their orders are seperate eg: Beef Burger w/cheese, Large fries w/cheese sauce etc...so make sure you know what you want and budget for it coz it might offset your finances - just saying! Soooo....thats my 2cents on this,...

Ordered iced coffee and strawberry milkshake. The person preparing it dropped the iced coffee on the tray and threw a straw on it though i overlooked it and politely asked for a tissue ("can i have a tissue for this") she replied in a rude and offended tone "you wait can't you see im preparing the milkshake, go and get the tissue from the other counter yourself and pay there as well.") Okay me being calm and collected went to the other counter took the tissue and went to pay the cashier. Where she told me i had to wait for the person serving me to come and take the cash.
