It’s an interesting spot on a lonely stretch of highway with a covered deck that overlooks the ocean. A handwritten menu on a whiteboard has limited menu options with a daily seafood catch. Frankly the food is ok and entrees are overpriced by 4X and the portions are small which might be why there weren’t any other customers when we were there. It was $400 FJD for the jumbo lobster that I paid 40 for in town. Maybe they think they can get away with it as it’s less than nearby Resort prices and due to a lack of immediate local options but this is no resort.
On the positive side, their fresh fruit smoothies are truly exceptional (especially papaya picked right off the trees behind the store) and their dessert special “coconut snowball” was a treat worth a visit. Your eyes, your heart, your belly (and your pocket!) will thank you. This is the true Fijian food and hospitality you want...

For what it is; a small family owned restaurant along the...
