It’s an interesting spot on a lonely stretch of highway with a covered deck that overlooks the ocean. A handwritten menu on a whiteboard has limited menu options with a daily seafood catch. Frankly the food is ok and entrees are overpriced by 4X and the portions are small which might be why there weren’t any other customers when we were there. It was $400 FJD for the jumbo lobster that I paid 40 for in town. Maybe they think they can get away with it as it’s less than nearby Resort prices and due to a lack of immediate local options but this is no resort.

On the positive side, their fresh fruit smoothies are truly exceptional (especially papaya picked right off the trees behind the store) and their dessert special “coconut snowball” was a treat worth a visit. The staff were, like everywhere in Fiji, very polite. We went there once to try it out but wouldn’t go back for dinner, just dessert. To experience better local dining options off the resorts plan ahead and catch the local bus into Sigatoka...

We asked to our driver to take us there for dinner after reading some of the reviews and because it was relatively close to the spa where we had booked a massage. Absolutely recommended! We had garlic bread and kokoda for entree (the kokoda with cassava chips was the REAL deal), fish coconut curry and chilli chicken for mains. We had a chat with some of the villagers running the restaurant, they are so kind and welcoming! If you are staying at The Warwick like we are, or in any of the resorts in the surroundings do yourself a favour and visit this little café. Your eyes, your heart, your belly (and your pocket!) will thank you. This is the true Fijian food and hospitality you want...

The view is to die for I must say 😍 Just had our end of year break up party here and it was amazing. The food is absolutely delicious especially the lovo and goat curry. Yum! It's great for smaller groups of people as our lot wasn't able to fit well on the outside portion overlooking the sea. Friendly and well mannerisms of staff is a cherry on the top. For what it is; a small family owned restaurant along the...
