Momos Tavern — Restaurant in Western

Good Food, But Unprofessional Management Sours the Experience

I'm torn on this place, and I'd probably give it 2 or 3 stars.

Here's a quick breakdown:

The Good:

The food is consistently good. No complaints there.

The ambiance is pleasant and it's in a great, convenient location.

The Not-So-Good:

The Gold Draft beer is a bit of a gamble; sometimes it's great, other times not so much.

The main issue: The completely unprofessional behavior of a man who appears to be the owner or manager.

On my last few visits, during busy service, I've witnessed this individual sitting with his leg propped up on a high chair, showing a total disregard for the guests trying to enjoy their meal. It's disrespectful, off-putting, and ruins the entire dining atmosphere. It makes you feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer.

While the kitchen staff is clearly doing a great job, their hard work is overshadowed by this unprofessionalism at the front. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, but until then, I can't...

I recently visited Momo’s Restaurant on Back Road, Nadi, and I must say it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Fiji. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. Every dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and professional. They made sure everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. The restaurant has a warm and relaxing atmosphere — ideal for both family dinners and a night out with friends.

Highly recommend Momo’s to anyone visiting Nadi or living nearby — it’s definitely worth it! I’ll surely be coming back again...

Loved this place. Small and cosy. Very well kept. Clean and great ambience. Very friendly staff. Something for everyone. I absolutely loved my fish and chips, the coleslaw with super light and tangy, that gave a kick to your tastebuds. Classic old fish and chips, totally done right. Crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. There fresh pineapple juice was very yum. No extra added sugar. Out of city with ample parking available. Could call and order ahead on 7776673. They have a wide range available in their bar 🍺. They have coffee available as well. They serve start serving quite early brekky, lunch and dinner. Great place to catch-up with friends, or have a quite time by yourself. A cute entertaining spot....
