Centrumbaren — Restaurant in Ålands Countryside

Delicious food and very hospitable owner. We've taken pork and veal and both pieces of meat were big, deliciously cooked and with a lot of french fries on the side. The prices are high (maybe even too high), but on the other hand great food, size of the portion and service. The owner had a nice chat with us and gave us some hints on what to visit on the island. Other reviews mention oldish interior, it's indeed not a state-of-the-art, but frankly what would you expect in the middle of a tiny...

Nice stop for homemade cake and tray bakes. Tea, coffee, juices and beer/cider on offer too. The lady was really nice and welcoming. Some wooden children's toys in the corner too.

On the street view there looks like a supermarket opposite it closed...

Läste recensioner att detta skulle vara ett trevligt ställe med god mat. Vi kommer dit och möts av en oerhört plottrig och omodern restaurang, vi blir tillsagda att det är dagens eller alacarte menyn som gäller. Min mamma beställer en rätt från Alacartemenyn, varpå en kvinna kommer ut från köket och skäller ut henne för det hon beställer och än en gång hänvisar till Alacartemenyn(där rätten stod med!). Vi valde trots det att stanna. Beställde kebabtallrik som drypte av fett och makaronilåda som inte såg speciellt aptitlig ut. Jag hade tillagat godare hemma. Dyrt för den enkla maten också. Enda positiva var den unga servitrisen som gjorde sitt bästa för att vi skulle få en bra upplevelse. Rekommenderar INGEN...
