Pizza was okay, but service was slow and not good at all. I went there with my wife and she ordered a diavola pizza. After we ordered another couple came to the table next to us and ordered after us. One of them ordered same diavola pizza as my wife did. After we had waited already 30min, the couple next to us got their pizzas. I was stunned already of that. A moment after we waited a bit more the waiter came and said that the diavola is sold out. I was now even more shocked, how can this happen that a pizza what we ordered before others, was sold out even someone who ordered it after us got it. The waiter gave my wife the menu again and asked to order something else. While my wife was thinking about the new pizza for a few minutes the waiter came again and said that the diavola is not sold out anymore. Another 20min passed and my wife got her diavola pizza, the couple on the table next to us already finished. Next I started to wonder where hell is my pizza? How the can this happen? I kept staring to the kitchen with a bit angry face, I was thinking did they forget about my pizza. After 15 min I finally got my pizza, my wife already ate over half of hers. The pizza didn't taste as heavenly as people describe, maybe they made me just so angry that it simply didn't taste good. Waste of time and money. In the end we didn't get any discount or anything. I spend over 1h to...
Read moreThe first time, after Capperi had just opened, my pizza was just allright but my mother's vegetarian pizza was so delicious, that I dreamed of returning there for it. So, today had it and what a huge dissapointment it was! The pizza was super greasy and very wet and soft from the middle, it was almost like soup, clearly very undercooked. Even the cheese hadn't melted. The other we pizza ordered was also super greasy pizza soup. I mentioned about this to the waiter and he did not even say sorry, he just educated me in a snobbily manner, that Napolese pizzas are supposed to be like that. Well, I have been living in Naples and never had such a raw, runny and moonlighted pizza..
I wonder, why in the first visit the pizzas had been long-enough in a hot-enough oven, why then the Napolese style was well-cooked pizzas but it had changed during few years? In the first visit there were only few other customers, now the place was totally packed. Maybe they don't need to show effort as the restaurant gets enough customers and to make people wait less the pizzas are left...
Read moreToday, I went to lunch with my son. We ordered a kid’s salami pizza and a sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and very flavorful, and the service was smooth. However, my son’s pizza turned out to be unexpectedly spicy; he had chosen the Margherita pizza with salami from the kids’ menu.
I believe it’s important for restaurants to inform customers if a dish, especially on the kids’ menu, contains spicy ingredients so we can make an informed choice. Most children can’t enjoy spicy food, so it would be helpful for the staff to mention this when a child is ordering. Unfortunately, my son left half of the pizza and all the salami on the plate, which was a big disappointment for him and a waste of money for me. The staff was informed about this, but an apology cannot substitute for a hungry child and a waste of money.
