A common people lunch/buffet and à la carte restaurant that isn't too fancy. It's easy solution for anyone looking for place to eat and people who doesn't want to look through overwhelming menus.
This isn't by any means too special restaurant even though they do have Pakistani cousine here. It's really closely related to nepalise restaurant so don't be surprised to find many similarities. It feels really fusion kitchen here because you can get pizza too when they serve buffet. Yay?
Service was polite and fast enough compared to regular restaurant service. They care their customers and that's a good thing indeed. They have funny signs and hints for guiding customers in order to return their dishes. I like this kind of humour it makes them more human and homelike than other restaurants in generally.
Decorating and atmosphere is ok as long as you don't look ceiling or walls which give a tad unfinished and cheap overall feeling of this place.
This place is big. There's lots of room here so it's recommend for bigger groups too. This might be the reason why it feels so empty here all the time.
From outside it's a really challenging place to enter especially the main entrance. You shouldn't need to put so many hints to tell people where to enter here. It gives really unprofessional feeling the first time you're visiting here. When you've passed the challenging entrance test you're greeted with a real place - luckily it's way better inside than outside.
I visited here during weekend. Saturday and Sunday lunch buffet price was 14,95 euros per person which I consider too high when compared to overall quality. Weekdays lunch buffet is 10,50 Euros which is a tad better from price/quality point of view. In their buffet they have atleast couple basic vegetarian diet options and couple meatlover options too. Selection is great but these options in generally seem to be missing quality. Don't expect fancy experience from the buffet. It's ok but nothing spectacular. It's great that soft drinks belong to buffet price.
I'd give just barely 4 stars during weekdays to this restaurant but because I visited here during weekend I can't recommend it from the price/quality point of view. Service is 4 stars no question there but 15 Euros from not so special weekend buffet was a let down for me. Maybe à la carte is better option here - main course prices there seem to be starting from 11ish Euros.
So I'd recommend this place for bigger groups that want to sit by the same table. Or someone looking for an alternative option to burgers. It's mostly ok restaurant from the buffet point of view. It's quiet here - even too quiet...
Read moreMy family regularly orders takeout from Peshawar, because their varied list makes it easy for both vegetarians, seafood enthusiasts and meat lovers to find something new and interesting to taste.
Dietary restrictions: it has always been easy to make sure that I get a dish without milk and gluten, and I have never felt that I need to compromise about taste or variety because of my limitations.
Spiciness: it is a good idea to ask how spicy a dish is. Some are rather mild, some quite hot, and the person on the phone has always been helpful in making sure that each family member gets the kind of dish they fancy that day.
Finally, one gets good value for money both regarding quality and quantity, and the freshly baked naan bread is truly excellent. (make sure to ask how many breads are included if you don't want any leftovers - we find that their naan is very good also the next...
Read moreVery bad buffet, will never visit again. All curries were old. Even the rice served was old, chunky and scratched from the bottom surface as well as seemed like from 2 different old rice batches as the rice colour was different upon refill. Also this looked nothing like organic basmati rice mentioned on the website🤔.
Even the raita sauce tasted sour/gone bad. The chicken in the butter chicken was so stiff, not sure how many times it’s been reheated and served again to be in this state. We were served naan bread on the table, which was again cold. We asked to get a warm fresh naan, they probably microwaved it as it was hot but rubbery and chewy.
Only good thing was the lentil soup. Such a shame that Pakistani food is served in such bad...
