Ravintola Buka — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We were so lucky to find this place! We were so close to just going to ikea purely out of convenience to grab something quick but wanted to see if there was something nicer nearby.

Well Ravintola Buka delivered. The menu prioritized quality over quantity and the 2 meals we had were fresh and tasty. I especially loved the kosovan meatballs. Amazing pizza dough cooked to perfection. I don't remember the last time I've had this good of a pizza.

I also tasted some raviolis in tomato sauce, which were also very well seasoned.

When it comes to Italian food there isn't much you can do regarding innovation you just have to get it right and they do.

The restaurants appearence isn't the best, and it has definitely seen better days. But I would still rate this 5 stars because they know...

The food was actually excellent, but the initially attentive table service disappeared after a while with no one looking after the tables, even though there were people coming and going from the staff area and I tried to get their attention too - I would've liked to have a water refill, or order a dessert, or get a check.
