Shishkebab — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

2024: (Lamb chop photo) Finally we got to try their lamb chops. I can't remember how many times I have asked them about these but it was never available. On previous times they told me that I need to book in advance even if the lamb chops were on the menu. Anyway, now we finally got to try their lamb chops and we were disappointed.... It was overcooked, dry and burnt. The portion was also small and the chops were very thinly cut so there was not much to eat. I wish I haven't ordered this dish so it wouldn't have dropped the my rating from 5 to 4. I still recommend their others skewer!

2023: (Bamboo tray photo) Food was great as always. This time the salad table was in better condition than our last visit in 2022 and soup + some drinks were also included. The sauces on the salad table was excellent with the lamb dishes.

Biggest con was the drilling work the restaurant was doing while opening times (Monday 9pm-10pm). Also the restaurant have a lot of flies flying around.

5* for the food and service but you don't come here for the atmosphere.

2022: (White plate photo) Have been visiting this place time to time when I'm craving for lamb meat. I guess the place have new owners now since the place looks a little different than previously and the restaurant is now named Samad.

The prices and dishes are almost same as before. Good quality for reasonable prices. The salad table is smaller and there is no soup or drinks included anymore. Still better than the restaurants nearby or in Itäkeskus which...

I went to order kebab, and the staff told me they had fresh lamb that just arrived today. They recommended another dish, so I decided to try it. However, the meat didn’t look completely fresh, so I politely asked if they could change it and if I could get a fattier cut instead. They said no, but then brought a fattier piece of meat to my friend instead, which felt unfair.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. The meat was overcooked and tasted unpleasant, the rice was cold, and the spices in the rice tasted raw. Even the sauces didn’t taste good. Overall, it was not a good experience, and I wouldn’t...

UUSI KOMENTTI:

Ravintolan laatu parantunut huomattavasti viime aikoina aikaisemmista kiitos. Tuovat myös extra lisukkeet, pöytäsalaatti ja leipäkin ylimääräisenä yms nykyään ja ruoan laatu sekä määrä parantunut myös eli nyt täsmää hyvin hinta-Laatu suhde.

Nykyään pitävät asiakkaasta hyvin huolta verrataan ennen. Ravintola on kuunnellut että huomioinut edellisen kommenttini ja ovat kuunnelleet-huomioineet asiakkaan suositukset kiitos siitä. Minun mielestä nyt ansaitsevat 5 tähteä mutta seuraan tilannetta vielä.

VANHA KOMENTTI:

Ihan ok mutta lian rasvainen shishkebab, Iraki leipä antavat mukaan todella vähän vaikka kirjoitin viesti että voitteko laita 1 leipä enemmän edes mutta eivät laittaneet yhtään lisä vaikka ostin 4 ateria samassa ajassa..

Edellinen omistaja oli paljon parempi silloin ruoka oli paljon laadukkaampi ja maukkaampi sekä aina laittoivat paljon extra leivät joku 5 kpl per annos ja myös aina laittoivat paljon salaattia ja muita lisukkeita mukaan NYT uusi omistaja vaikuta lian pihiltä ja ruoka laati on todella alas tippunut.

Tämän lisäksi Aina puuttuu jotain, milloin se on juoma joka unohtunut, millin se on muu maksettu asia unohtunut mm linssi keittiö jne. Lian vähän Iraki leipä shishkebab annoksen mukaan. Ja huomio se normaali kebab annokset on todella mautonta heillä .

Suosittelen parantamaan ruoan laatu sekä lisäämään Iraki leipä ja lisukkeita enemmän asiakkaille kuten edellinen hyvä omistaja teki. Sekä vähentämään liika rasva Shishkebabissa

Hyvä plus on yleensä ei aina mutta yleensä nopea toimitusta kotiin
