26.11.2024 General: visited this Indian cuisine first time and i have to say, they are putting absolutely everything on the table (pun intended 🤭).
Food: as it is typical to try to please Kids and sensitive people among others like food enthusiast, critics(!) and people who like hot stuff, here you have various pizzas and a mild kebab too. Just in case a family with Kids or elderly pop in. Soda/water/Juice from tap. The greens/starters were fresh, nicely cold and well cut. Plenty to choose from. And The jalapenos had some kick too. The sauces with dill was nice - even though i hate and pass anything with dill. I usually opt for anything else. Tomato, cucumber, Red cabbage, iceberg salad, red onion, salsa like salad (basic ingredients diced and mixed), olives green/black and pineapple. Go for the tomato + herb sauce. Greens: 5-/5. Mains were a trip to indian cuisine as it says outside. He asked us at the entrance what kind of foods i like and prepared us a special (not on the list) south indian chicken dish. Beautiful, elegant, gentle, tender, lushious really well made chicken, thick pieces, a lot of meat. And the sauce! Ooh la la. Garlic naan was nice but i expected more garlic! Even though it was toned down, it had the same effect as myself made dishes, The more you eat, The more you want to eat it. I call it slow growing pleasure that just keeps on growing. Wow. A dish that i have never had in finland an absolute 5/5! Almost everything was made from heart, but perhaps some of The vegetarian variants were so mild and suitable to children also that it has to be understood and accepted. So, some were 3/5 and most 4.5/5, 5-/5. Mains 4.5/5. Dessert nice little lakes and he made us a superb to order Indian Chai Tea! Bullseye. Well done. But The biggest delight was a carrot/sweetpotato Dessert, cold sweet and earthy with some colored candy crydtals. I was smiling and laughing to how nice this dessert surprise was. Regular coffee was very good too. Dessert: 5/5. If you are driving through Jyväskylä or live near by, this place is worth a stop, 14€/per person gets you all you can ask for and a bit more. Buffet 10.30-20.00. Foods overall a solid 5-/5.
Service: The attitude was through the roof. Ready to make this place a success. Listens to customers. 5/5.
Atmosphere: well, it is a busy buffet restaurant even though they have a la carte too. I think the style was clean and nice, very rational and modern. Toilet was okay (i was told by my company). There are things that you don't have to make perfect, so satisfying 3/5.
Overall: considering The general, foods, service and atmosphere, i definetely recommend this place, and really Cross my fingers and hope they can keep up The good work, nearly...
Read moreTo start with, I was surprised to find an all day buffet with the kind of Indian options available. The buffet had great variety and the quality of food in the buffet was like that in alacarte service, which is quite rare. The service exceeded any expectations I could have. The staff especially made gluten free pizza for my friend as the ones on buffet all had gluten, were ready to offer a popular dish as part of the buffet if we thought something essential was missing, and offered Indian and Saffron chai in the end. All in all, I would highly recommend this place for good food and the...
Read moreThis has to be the most tastiest Indian buffet I ever had in all of Finland.
We had been from Oulu to Jyvaskula for a cricket tournament and we were a little late to reach. So, we called the resto and asked us to wait for us after their closing hours and they did.. And that followed with some yummy food ( pics attached )
Then we followed to the resto for the dinner next day and the lunch buffet, the day after. And all of us were really satisfied with the curries, rice and yummy pizzas, and not to mention that made us a chai too..
Would definitely recommend to anyone who would want...
