We eat so often that we sometimes forget what an important role food has in our lives; it defines not only our body or our mental well being, but definitely also our culture. And the thing is, if you really want to know about somebody's culture through food, you don't ask them for their favourite Michelin star restaurant, no! You ask them what they eat when they are hungry, when they need comfort or when they feel homesick. This little gem of a snackbar is what you get when people from a different culture put their heart into making a dish that will nourish you in every sense of the word and watching these wonderful people prepare the calory bombs they serve you, is an absolute pleasure. The "Tuiralainen" is the house speciality, and when you order it, you might not want to tell your cardiologist about it, but it will improve your life quality... At least for the 30 minutes it takes you...

Owners work at themselves at the place. Everything is fresh and prepared on site. Pita style bread is baked for your meal and they source their beef locally (from Viskaalin).
