If you are staying at the hotel and you have the time, don’t come here!! The staff is incredibly rude. I had read the reviews and thought it can’t be worse than many other similar places but this place is so bad they made me want to leave 2 minutes after coming in. The restaurant was empty except for a very noisy table next to where they made us sit. I asked if we could sit somewhere else and the waitress said no as they keep getting bookings (they didn’t, the tables remained empty, but I guess the waitress didn’t want to walk 2 steps more). She didn’t say sorry, smile, but acted as if she owned the place. Then she bought kids menus to our teenagers when obviously teenagers eat more that the avarage adult (as if we would go to a restaurant to eat frozen nuggets etc, didn’t even eat that when they were kids). She was annoyed that I asked for real menus for us all. Then a different waitress came to get our orders. After placing our orders she again said they would have had kids menus with “pampino” (try to pronounce in Italian with a B if you work in a supposed to be Italian restaurant). Why on earth would we want kids menus (for teens!) after ordering??? Again, she was so rude even my kids commented at this stage that the waiting staff is exceptionally rude and impolite.
The food was fast food level and the pizzas like frozen pizzas but everything costs like in a real restaurant. I can’t understand how anyone can work with such a bad attitude. Avoid this place. It’s cheap quality at high prices and the rudest service I’ve ever experienced in my life. 8 thumbs down from our family, just because we don’t have more thumbs...
Read moreOne couple on front of us were seated right after they entered the restaurant. We needed to wait a long while and in the end I needed to ask whether they have any table seating. At the same time they did have several tables available. Only after I asked, we were recognized and given a table. I ordered aperitif and got it with some very long paper straw what tasted pulp and were useless. I then sipped my limoncello spritz right from the glass. Didn’t change the taste though. My 14 years old were given pens and drawing paper while waiting for the food. He was not impressed. He wore white shirt and nice linen pants with Arigato shoes. So, he didn’t look like a small boy. And he is almost my height. After a while we ordered a mocktail to one of our minors and he get ordinary apple juice what we immediately returned and asked for an mocktail with apple flawour what he already had before and ordered. That, I must admit, they fixed pretty fast. Food okay and value for money but service (specially that one man) really poor. Overall not good experience because of that feeling given when we entered and because no one tried to fix that in any way during whole evening. Not even apologizing or saying a...
Read moreWent with my partner for a full meal. The antipasti and focaccia were both good starters and were almost big enough to share. I had a pizza with salami, which was decently baked and had good amount of fillings. My partner had the beyond burger and considered it one of the best ones they've had.
For the dessert we had ice cream, with the staff creating a special non-dairy sorbet-based version for my partner. There was however some confusion as they seemed to have run out of practically all the ice cream varieties save vanilla.
One of the biggest gripes was how hot the place was, with no apparent AC on a hot day. The staff did close the shades for us before we caught fire, but it was still unpleasantly hot. The wait staff was alright, but while I didn't time it, everything seemed to take a very long time to arrive. The price levels were of a bit finer restaurant than what...
