Read moreWe arrived Hautvillers with high regards considering the rave reviews we have seen on the internet before coming. We looked forward to tasting the local specialties of Hautvillers. The team at Au 36 are welcoming and we were seated promptly at the first level of the restaurant. It was a little cramp due to human traffic passing the small aisle to enter and to the counter for payment. We requested for a table on the lounge upstairs and were satisfied that we were given slightly after even though lunch was already served. We ordered a 6 Flutes champagne degustation for 2, a Pork pottee, a set of cheese platter, a set of house special tapas and 2 dessert. The food served are authentically local but they are basic and serving is relatively small. The hospitality of the team is warm and friendly, we enjoyed the...

Really a fun process. The catch is that a modern high end restaurant, great staff, and quality food has to be paid for so despite being in a small village, the pricing is more big city. These people work hard and deliver. ...
