Just by the beautiful Abbey. Lots of parking. Looks like a coffee shop at the front but there is a lovely restaurant at the back. Dog friendly. All staff are superb and really helpful with the menu. The food.....ooh la la. Definitely all home made and the pastry in our quiche starter was outstanding. Our mains were delicious too. Great menu. Don't often have a dessert, but the atmosphere was great, so we stayed and had one. We shared a pear and chocolate tart. It was fabulous!!! Crispy pastry base with immense flavours of rich chocolate and sweet pear.....wow! Shame we were just...

We went to the Cafe on a bleak April day, the town was quiet and deserted. The restaurant looked like the same..until we went inside. We were taken from one room to another and then another and found a group of locals eating food that tasted like it was made by your best friends mother (in a good way that is) The people were lovely. Go there...

We ate in the restaurant (as opposed to the bar). Food and service was excellent with a good drinks menu. It's the sort of place I expect there were more of in France, a real throwback to focus on good quality ingredients, how they're cooked and local produce. It was also fully booked and frequented by locals....
