La Table d'Abbeville — Restaurant in Abbeville

Unfortunately the experience we had tonight means we will never be going back. Arrived at 7:30 pm and asked for a table for 3 people . We were told it would be an hour wait so we left our name and duly came back at 8:30 pm to be shown a table. 15 minutes later when the waitress finally came over we asked for the menu, only to be told they had an extremely limited menu (A tiny menu) with 2 choices for starter, main and dessert. She didn't even ask us what we would like to drink! We walked out, I would have expected more from the mercure hotel. 😵 why didn't you tell us about the limited menu...

Had a meal here whilst staying the night in the hotel and it was delicious. There were 4 of us, I had the burger followed by an amazing chocolate fondant cake with cherries and ice cream (I only took pictures of my food), 1 person had the fois gras followed by the steak and 2 had the plat du jour..... Endive wrapped in ham in a cheesy sauce, followed by haddock risotto and a chocolate mousse. 1 half bottle of red, 2 bottles of rose and some water etc for the table and altogether the meal came to...

Du positif et du négatif : Nous avons plutôt bien mangé et passé un bon moment. Cela dit, les tarifs restent globalement excessifs en comparaison à des restaurants à qualité équivalente. Les plats et desserts sont bons sans pour autant sortir du lot. L'accueil et le service sont corrects.

J'aurais pu mettre 4 étoiles cependant je n'en mettrais que 3 car malgré notre signalement en début de repas indiquant l'état des toilettes (odeur et trace de pneus sur l'assise des femmes), ces derniers étaient toujours dans le même état à notre départ !

Petite déception également concernant le nom du restaurant laissant penser que nous aurions trouver quelques...
