We went at night on a Monday for dessert (the restaurant was NOT full). The server asks someone if it's okay if we just order dessert to presumably a manager. They say yes, so we order. When we go to pay the bill, an older brunette lady reprimands me for only getting dessert and condescendingly says they are not a patisserie. To do this at the end of the service is beyond rude. Also, note that we were there for less than 30 minutes; we didn't take a table from someone paying for a full dinner and there were still empty tables. I will obviously never come back as they certainly don't seem like they need the business if this is how they treat their patrons. FYI the desserts were just okay too (lavender creme brûlée and ice cream); it is obvious they are not a patisserie. I wish she had told me no at the beginning so I could take my business literally anywhere else.
P.S. I also saw someone else posted about this waitress and how she intervened to tell someone they were full as another waiter was literally bringing them to a table. She should not work in the restaurant industry if she's doesn't want to be hospitable.
TLDR: Not worth the headache for...
Read moreThis had good reviews and was by far the best meal we had during our week-long stay in France. We made a reservation which we realized was a good thing as it filled up fast. It was cozy with rustic look and feel including a large fireplace where they actually cooked the meals. We were served a delicious olive tapenade with the bread. Then we had the grilled seafood salad and Foie gras for appetizers. The seafood salad was amazing. It had more seafood than I have ever seen in a dish like this…muscles, scallops, calamari, shrimp. It was divine! My partner loved the Foie gras. For our main dishes, we had the John Dory fish which I had never had before. It was delicious, soft and delicate and full of flavor. My partner had the kidneys, a dish he recalls fondly from his childhood in Europe but difficult to find the the states. He loved that too. We topped it off with profiteroles which were Devine. The vanilla ice cream was real vanilla. The best I’d ever had. The owners were lovely and we learned a lot about their time running the restaurant. I can’t recommend this...

We had an amazing meal of the menu de la mer (sea set menu) €28.50 and menu de la petite Provence (Provence set menu) €24.50. Both had an appetizer, entree and dessert. The Provence menu has your option of appetizer as a buffet of salads, pates, charcuterie, etc and it was wonderful. The seafood is really good quality.
It is a great price for the quality and portions of food you get and it was all delicious. Very well cooked and wonderful taste. Healthy, fresh, and a bit of love.
Our server was very kind and elegant. The place was full by 8pm. I highly recommend this place, it is an award winning restaurant in the region and they will treat you well, tourist or not.
The interior is very cozy and ambient. Feels old and they’ve kept part of the old kitchen as the main grill. So nice to eat fresh from the fire.
At the end we even got a bit of chocolate truffle that looked like house made. Nice touch!
A little kitty waits outside the restaurant for fish bones because even he knows the food here is...
