We stumbled across this place at the start of our week of skiing while grabbing a coffee and loved it so much we stayed for lunch. We then ate out at a few more restaurants higher up throughout the week and returned here on our final night and nowhere else in Tignes came close to this place. We were welcomed back with a warm smile like regulars, everyone around us was well looked after. This was some of the best service I have ever experienced and I cannot wait to return again in the future. We’ve been there a couple of times and usually this is a nice place, but we went today around midday and it was really poor. Suuuper slow service, and when we asked where our coffees were after 15 minutes the waiter was super sassy. Once we finally received our order we overheard the waiters bitching about us and saying it’s fine because we speak english. They just didn’t know one of us was french.

To be clear, the problem is not with the coffees taking some time, the issue is that when we asked them staff to check on the order they were sassy and then complained about us right in front of them. They could have just said “okay, let me check on...

Watch out in this place. Visited it 4 times last week (Jan-Feb 25) for drinks and food. Always enjoyed using it in the past, however they started serving very small (half) measures of coffee and hot chocolate and blamed the machine settings. Would not bring an extra cup and fill up the short measures to a reasonable drink. Full prices charged. Very disappointing and unfortunately plays to the stereotype of poor French service.
