La Roche de Mio — Restaurant in Albertville

An expensive and unfulfilling place to eat. €19 for sausage and chips, a square of lasagna and bit of salad, or a spaghetti bolognaise, which is not a great portion nor great tasting was out of order. The soup we got with croutons and cheese with a tiny roll at €12 was cold. My son’s burger was uncooked and cold in the middle and all in all we spent £75 for four poor meals…or at best, snacks. But my son filled up with a plate of chips at €9. Not great.

The hot chocolate was nice with cream and chocolate on top very nice. The staff were nice too, friendly and helpful and the panoramic views...

Had a pancake & vin chaud. This was €10 so seemed reasonable. The man serving was nice but the toilets were abismal. Very difficult to get in with ski boots on as almost need stand on toilet to shut door & floor was not clean, probably due to the difficulty getting in. First unpleasant toilet. Probably just have food or drink but go elsewhere for the toilet. Would have been 5* except for that. Staff...
