We happened across this place looking for the base of the Vallon de L'Iseran to get to the Pissaillas Glacier. It was a bit early but we were getting a bit hungry so we stopped. The views from the outside dining area was really nice, looking down into Le Fornet. The restaurant was a canteen style where you grabbed a tray and picked food items from the fridges or ordered at the meal area. There was a menu blackboard by the trays and around the top. They did have combo meals which included dessert. We tried the chicken, sausage and the pork hock (which was recommended by the person in front). We did want to try the duck but it was still cooking (ready by 1200). The meals came with either vegetables or potatoes as well as a sauce. Food was really nice. Even though the restaurant has a great location and the food we ordered (pizza) was good, the attitude of the restaurant manager is awful. First of all, you can never get a table with a nice view if you are only two people. Furthermore, there is a policy prohibiting ordering dishes to share, so you'll have to eat the whole pizza alone. This is the first time in my life I see such a weird policy which is especially unpleasant, given that they have plenty of opportunities to earn their money due to the location and quite high prices. A cherry on top of this cake was a manager coming and taking the chair with our helmets and gloves without asking, so that everything felt down on the ground. Overall, this place only spoils your mood. Definitely not recommending until the manager and policies...

EUR. 32,— Burger & Chips!… Rating low because of attitude staff member after having complained about a fault. Ordered burger nature (explicitly mentioned only burger & bun), it came dressed with all sorts, waiter took it back and indoors scraped the extras off and served that burger again… We could have done that ourselves. In my opinion way out of order. We sat lunching peacefully and suddenly music extremely loud which was unpleasant. Prices food high (too high for burger and chicken goujons) but food quality was probably 4...
