A Sky-High Dining Experience Above Lake Annecy Perched high above Lake Annecy's glittering waters, this iconic restaurant serves up more than just a meal, it's proper dinner theatre. Imagine tucking into authentic Savoyard cuisine whilst hang-gliders drift overhead like colourful birds against the Alpine backdrop. Absolutely magical. The menu celebrates hearty regional classics without fuss: raclettes, tartiflettes, and substantial salads. There are excellent teenager-friendly burgers, and there’s a great choice of locally brewed beers and wines for adults. What truly transforms this place, however, is the service. From the manager to the waiting staff, everyone was just so friendly, patiently accommodating our party's fussy eaters with patience. A big shoutout and thanks to our waitress, (whose name we unfortunately did not get), a French lady with an interesting Turkish/Bulgarian background who looked after us really well and came running out of the restaurant to say goodbye as she had missed our departure! Bottom line: The mountain journey, panoramic lake views, good food, and heartfelt hospitality combine to create something special. Whether you're a first-timer or giving this gem a second chance, you'll be planning your return before you've left....

Enjoyed our group dinner here. Stunning view, of course. Decent food based on group consensus - though I did enjoy my ceasar salad, and the chocolate lava cake and Genepi ice cream were 10/10 superb👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. Very good service: Melissa was the best waitress / waiter I’ve had in over a week in France! Her warmth, charm and fun personality created the whole vibe of our 6-person dining experience! (That was especially nice considering the entry people couldn’t find our reservation and sat us in the inside den without a view - but they at least found us a spot! That place was truly fully booked even though we arrived when it was empty. Reservations...

No reservation then no service!!

Asked once told nicely “nope”. But even after going off for a hours hike and trying again still ask the question have you made a reservation but all I seen was a 3/4 full restaurant with the same empty tables a hour ago. think it’s just their power trip to make a point, maybe it helps their exclusive and image. Who knows their thinking.

Had I seen a review like this I would of just skipped even asking. There is two other restaurants which I’ve tried the nights before and they accept walk ins...

From an impromptu call to get a table through to an incredible view on a clear day the whole experience was one I will remember. The service was excellent, really friendly and attentive. The food ( we had the Raclette cooked under a charcoal burner) was great. The restaurant and view were recommended by Nomad bikes where we had been in the morning and it was an excellent recommendation. We will definitely come back as it really was a special place to eat with great service and food. Thank you.

The big draw of this restaurant is the fantastic location with a view over the lake and to watch a spectacular sunset. The food itself is fine, though nothing special, with cheese Fondue and Raclette as specialities, plus some additional typical French food items. My steak was on the tough side, the French fries a bit soggy. The positive highlight was the desert with an excellent Tiramisu su, and an interesting cheese and blueberry combination.
