I don't write reviews, let alone 1 star review. But what the hell did I just experience today?

We sat down on an empty terrace like any other resto on the slopes. The waitress instantly came and asked "Excuse me, did you ask us if you could sit down?" Flabbergasted, we apologize and she annoyingly dressed the table and took order for drinks. After 30! minutes she came again and asks us what we want to eat. We said we didn't anymore because it took so long and wanted the bill. She rudely took everything away from the table and made me go pay inside and told us to leave.

Once inside the boss looked at my bill and bluntly told me "Did you only order drinks?" And sighed in my face, giving me an earful about how we were bad customers. When I pointed out his rudeness, he just told me "we do thing differently here and you can leave". Mind you, I paid 15 euros for 2 Cola's and a beer of 250ml. So for 3 drinks that an insane margin. Yet, he scolded me for "only" ordering drinks. The slow and rude service he shrugged off. I made sure I stayed very polite, which made him even more annoyed.

Long story short, avoid the place. Look at the other 1 star reviews. It's all the same story. Rude people who seem to...

We visited Le Bercail for lunch with a family of 4. Waitress was very unfriendly and ignored us several times, when trying to order. We had to wait long before our lunch was served. This was so much different than the other restaurants we visited in La Clusaz during our holiday, were we felt very welcome and experienced great service. One main course, the entrecôte, was missing. While 3 of us had finished their lunch, a very, very well done entrecote was finally served. Luckily the great weather and snow conditions made our day. This restaurant...

Interesting 'taxi' service if you visit this restaurant in the evening. As the restaurant is on the slopes then one of the staff needs to collect the diners in a skimobile and sledge. The decor is homely, rustic and of course Alpine. Food is hearty and with an extensive menu and plenty of meat dishes. Service was both efficient and friendly...

This place is exceptional especially for dinner, a snow mobile ride to the restaurant just ads to the atmosphere and the food is amazing, I've been here 3 times already and I'm definatley going back the beef is cooked Infront of you and is amazing, make sure you book early but its worth it!
