Everything was fine until the appetizer arrived, then it went downhill fast.
The kid’s meal was served incorrectly (later fixed, and which is fine), but our main dishes never showed up. We waited about 45 minutes overall while other tables were served. We eventually had to leave without eating.
To make things worse, when we went to settle the bill, Anthony (who handled billing, a guy with in his 50-60s with grey hair) made no effort to adjust the total, despite the fact that we never received our main meals. We even had to ask for the dessert that was part of the kid’s menu, and we didn’t receive. When I asked if something could be taken off the bill to reflect the situation or at least a sincere apology, Anthony became defensive and aggressive, talking over me, raising his voice, and attempting to justify the delays by citing time and irrelevant excuses.
I told him clearly that I didn’t appreciate his attitude, and his response was to shout “Get out!” while aggressively pointing to the door. This behavior was completely unprofessional, confrontational, and outright hostile.
I’ve been coming here for years - never again. This wasn’t just bad service. It was hostile, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable.

Done with appetiser at around 12:20. 30min goes by, ask the waiter where our food is. Gives us the typical excuse that they are busy, except tables that arrived 25-30min after us are getting their main course.
By 1pm still nothing we decide to leave and are greeted by the rudest barman/manager I’ve ever met. Proceeds to tell us that regardless of the wait we should be thankful for the view and the wait shouldn’t matter. All in a condescending tone. Wife tells him the tone is unnecessary and that a simple apology is needed. Proceeds to escalate the exchange and ends in a shouting match. Zero remorse.
Been coming to this place for years with family,...
Read moreThis was another fantastic meal – our third time dining here, and it just keeps getting better. The menu has a great mix: plenty of the classic Savoyard favourites, but also some surprisingly innovative dishes that really stand out. I had an excellent Thai dish bursting with flavour, while my wife enjoyed a beautifully cooked Moroccan lamb that she hasn’t stopped talking about.
The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely lovely throughout. A special mention must go to the barman, who mixes an outstanding Old Fashioned – one of the best we’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere was lifted even further by a great music selection that made the whole evening feel relaxed and vibrant.
We’ll definitely...
