Just had a nice last minute stay this weekend and tried breakfast, lunch and dinner different days. Great spot, will definitely come back. The hotel and restaurant were renovated this spring, and newly opened in May 2024, so ignore old reviews. Food was good, nice offerings (beyond crevettes and oysters) with a cool setting, right up from the bay with a nice view. Indoor and outdoor (it rained one night we were there and preferred breakfast inside, very cozy). Great wine list with extensive bio wines. Generous portions. Recommend the fish of course, vegetables and meats. Everything local and flavorful. Staff running around a bit, sometimes slow, but friendly and helpful. A bit father from town, need a car or bike. Everyone bikes and several rental stores nearby. If you love oysters, and boats, you’re in the prime location as there’s 5 oyster restaurants within a 3 minute walk. Quiet at night, clean comfortable rooms. Nice tiled showers (conditioner would be nice - Bring your own). Cool merchandise, took home a shirt.

We were recommended to come here. It was fine for lunch. Beautiful area and the restaurant was obviously well known. The meal wasn’t memorable. In fact the only photo I took was these oysters as this trip to Cap Feret was all about the oyster. Oh and about the beaches. The Atlantic beach was great. Just like Australia. White, sandy, wide and long. This little town and area is worth a couple of hours aside from the beaches.

Great location. Really friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The bar / restaurant area has a lovely atmosphere. Reading some of the negative reviews on here makes me wonder what people are expecting for such a reasonably priced hotel. The Savoy it is not and neither does it pretend to be. Will definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to be able to get a room.

Beautiful hotel and location. The room was stylish and comfortable (although bit small for the price) and the restaurant and bar had been renovated to a really high standard. Overall a magical place.

The staff however were abysmal. Very poor and unfriendly service, no smiles, no look of recognition or welcome for a hotel guest. Treated as a stranger and often ignored without apology…. having to go get your own drinks from the bar or be faced with stony, disinterested faces. Seemed more interested in hanging out with the staff and having a joke with their friends rather than serving the customers.

When some of the staff finished their shift however, they were served beers within 2 minutes and a lot of loud chatting and laughing ensued. All while customers were ignored at the bar, waiting to pay or order their drinks.

The two brown haired ladies on reception and a lady on the bar with a bob were the exception and really fantastic. Always welcoming, friendly and professional. You should get rid of the rest as they are letting a beautiful place down. Sorry to say we...

We have stayed at the Hotel De La Plage twice this summer. It’s so well positioned next to the beach, the rooms are small but perfectly formed, decorated with seaside vibe decor. The restaurant is also excellent and they have a great selection of drinks too. It has a lovely atmosphere.

The reception staff are very helpful, in particular, Paulina was above and beyond. They assisted with restaurant recommendations and bookings plus taxis.

If I could make any improvements, I would add a full length mirror to the bedrooms, and perhaps speed up the service a little as it was very slow at times, however, it was the height of the season,

All in all we had a wonderful time and we absolutely would...
