La Sierra — Restaurant in Argelès-Gazost

A family run gem in an alley in cauterets france. The dining room is modern, comfortable and cozy. They have a nice outdoor seating area but it was a bit cool today so everyone was inside. The Service was friendly an on point. The wine list is not huge but they have some good wines at good prices. We had a Bordeaux that went very well with my entre. The menu is not huge but plenty of variety. I had the gabure which is typical of the area and was very glad I did. It's a huge stew with white beans, potatoes, carrots, cabbage and confit (they have a vegetarian version too). It was very good , tasted great. My wife ordered an excellent trout that came with roasted potatoes and a salad. They have a great desert list, we went with the chocolate moose, obviously home made and just perfect. You might miss this place if you are walking around as it's not in a main street but I implore you to check it out. You will thank...

Restaurant adorable et incroyable, tant pour la qualité de la cuisine que pour la gentillesse de la propriétaire, et de sa nièce qui fait le service!

Nous avons mangé le meilleur camembert rôti de notre vie! Les frites sont délicieuses, la charcuterie très qualitative et le camembert était parfaitement cuisiné. Niveau service, j'ai rarement vu une propriétaire réaménager son restaurant aussi efficacement, en plein service, pour permettre à tout le monde de profiter de sa merveilleuse cuisine, et avec le sourire et humour.

Niveau prix, pour cette qualité et la quantité, c'est très raisonnable : 22€ pour un camembert entier, une grande barquette de frites, une salade fraîche et une très grande tranche de jambon de pays.

Merci pour ce bon moment. Je reviendrais sans hésiter à mon prochain passage à Cauterets et de préférence en juin, pour profiter de votre jolie...
