Le Lys — Restaurant in Argelès-Gazost

Great mountain experience without the hiking! Departing from Cauterets, the cable car goes for about 15 minutes to the restaurant above (there are clean toilets). After a 5-10 min walk, there is a chair lift station to go on top of the mountain. The chairlift ride is about 20 minutes. The trip is very kids-friendly. We went with our 10 and 3 year olds who love the trip. The whole trip took 2 to 3 hours, with ample photo and sightseeing time on a mountain top where the view is awesome. Niveau restauration moyenne, personnel peu accueillant, organisation à revoir. Pas d'organisation des tables (vous pouvez commander et manger debout car les tables sont prises pour des pique nique). Je mets une étoile pour l'anecdote suivante: La gestion de la file d'attente en fin de journée était calamiteuse. Nous sommes passés in extremiss mais la famille derrière nous s'est vu refusée d'être servie alors qu'elle faisaient la queue depuis 15 min avec un enfant en bas âge dans les bras (on nous avait pas précisé que nous étions les derniers à etre servis et qu'il fallait prévenir ceux de derrière).
