I admit that the food was nice, but the approach of the waitress was so incredibly impolite — I have rarely seen anything like it in my life.
I was in the hospital with my baby and made a short outing to the restaurant to meet my family. I hoped to spend a good evening. I had bought a toothpaste and didn’t have a bag to keep it in.
The waitress started joking about my toothpaste. She said, “So you need to clean your teeth before eating?”
I said, “Ma’am, I’m in the hospital and just bought it.” Then I kept it out of her sight behind the chair. We were eating indoors, and later, to have dessert, we went outdoors. I have forgotten her useless joke.
However, she still continued to joke about my toothpaste box. I said, “Ma’am, I told you I’m in the hospital and I’m going back with my affairs. It’s not for you to judge your clients appearance and belongings unless it’s against your restaurant’s rules.”
And instead of apologizing, she started to speak aggressively with a tension and said she wouldn’t admit that she was impolite — that she only wanted to joke.
I told her that I had already informed her of my situation, that I have absolutely no wish to joke with waitress in restaurants but being supported by my family and she must not allow herself to judge or make fun of it. She kept speaking rudely and just went inside, left me shocked.
So, I think not only good food is important in a restaurant — it’s also about being human and learning manners. After all, it is a service, and I go there to receive service, not her jokes. So it is extremely disappointing and just creating a very bad souvenir. Useless to say that I will never ever go close to that...
Read moreWe went at this restaurant to celebrate a special birthday . The place looked nice and the menu was promising. However: service was very slow and quite bad, as the owner was the only one to serve all the tables on a Saturday night .very disappointing as prices are very high and it doesn’t match the level of service .the food was nice but not amazing and ambiance was good . There is a very cute dog of the owners there that I really liked. Another negative point , not enough bread was served for 4 people and no side dishes are offered like spinach / vegetables / potatos that can be found at any Michelin star restaurants as well as simpler restaurants. So my verdict is the we had a nice evening but it didn’t feel like a good value for money due to the service and...
Read moreWe absolutely adored this charming restaurant! The decor is cheery and cozy both inside and outside. We sat outside for lunch and had the most delicious cuisine. Egg soup with foie gras, steak with potatoes, and melt in your mouth fish with a delectable sauce. Isabelle is a most welcoming and attentive hostess and the chef Eric is top notch. We are visiting from the U.S. and this was our most delicious meal we experienced while in Paris. ...
