Hôtel Restaurant Le Mitigana — Restaurant in Auxerre

We (family of 6) came to this hotel at midnight without booking looking for emergency lodging because our cruise boat from a company nearby (shall not name it) had a sewage pump failure in the toilets resulting in sewage waste overflowing and the boat emergency number was not responding. We were desperate for a night to rest before returning the boat - and found this hotel nearby. The door was already locked but the owner Oliver was very kind to open the door and listen to our issues. Without hesitation, he arranged 3 bedrooms for us (he didn’t have much vacancy) to rest for the night. He was also very empathetic with the charges. The rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. Having previously stayed in this hotel, I decided to book again for another trip. ||For a family trip with a young baby, I chose this hotel for its assets:||Good location: close from the train station, central in the department, accessible by bicycle and cars||Good comfort: new hotel with big lift, good space in the bathroom, beds good||there is a good restaurant with french fancy quality french food||there is a very good pastries shop (if you are greedy, it is a place to visit)||The service is good, friendly and professional||the breakfast is fresh and enough generous (the croissants and the chocolate breads are not industrial)||||There is only one missing point: you can not access the streaming platforms with the hotel network.||||For the area, the ration comfort/price is very...
