Buffalo Grill Granville — Restaurant in Avranches

We often visit our local Buffalo Grill and enjoy the experience very much. On a weekend away to Granville we were happy to find this Buffalo Grill not too far from our hotel. Our server was called Leo, (I think), and we found him to be very friendly, welcoming and attentative. It was a very busy time and he had the horrible job of telling me that the starter I had ordered was no longer available, then later he had the even more horrible job of telling me that my desert was no longer available....obvs I have common tastes.... He was so sincere, contrite and helpful in recommending a replacement, (no-one would like that side of their job). He was just a lovely guy, we were happy to have him as our server. The food was lovely, my steak was cooked as I liked, to perfection. The burgers were massive. So it is a definite 5 stars from us. ...

Very disappointed. Ordered an aperitif ok , no frills and a plate of starters to share , waited 40 minutes and despite reminding passing staff we had not had anything , we were told it's on it's way, we are busy, . ! but the table who arrived after us were served ok. Decided to pay for our drink and leave . To be told our starter is ready and was presented to us at the til whilst paying for our drinks ! . Will not be visiting again . Cant rate the food as...

Nous venons assez régulièrement manger au Buffalo Grill de Granville mais hier soir a été plus que déplorable.

Déjà les verres avaient des traces de calcaires très importantes, mais les verres sur les autres tables étaient pareils. La carafe d'eau était également très calcaire (voir photo).

J'ai commandé un cheeseburger, avec un steak bien cuit. Le steak était rosé sur les côtés et non bien cuit. J'ai donc demandé à avoir un steak mieux cuit. La serveuse l'a repris sans soucis. Mais ce n'est pas le steak qui a été recuit mais toute l'assiette qui a été réchauffée. La salade avait cuit, le cheddar était liquide, la sauce ciboulette avait été chauffée aussi... (voir photo) J'ai donc été revoir la serveuse car ce plat n'était pas mangeable sans risque pour la santé !! On m'a refait un cheeseburger à ma demande, mais j'ai attendu très longtemps, alors qu'il n'y avait pas grand monde !!

Un autre point : les toilettes, dont l'hygiène est à revoir !! Le sol était collant, les robinets ne fonctionnaient quasiment pas. Le séchoir à mains ne fonctionnait pas, il y avait juste un rouleau d'essuie tout imbibé d'eau pour s'essuyer les mains !!

Quand on se vante à l'entrée du restaurant de répondre à tous les avis google, essayez plutôt d'assurer une prestation correcte sur place et dans les normes...
