Of ask the meals we had in Beziers, this was by far the most disappointing, a feeling clearly shared.
Arriving at the table, the server arranged take water for everyone's table, but ours. No problem, we ordered a bottle of sparkling water at 6-7 euro INSTEAD.
First course, 2 skewers of baby octopus. Was 'ok'. Nothing special.
Main course, an under seasoned beef filet (at no point anyone asked how it was) and a rather tasty pork chop. And, the sides, gotten wrong... had to remind them twice about missing items.
The wine, a rose, was lovely and served/ dribbled over the table.
The desert, order gotten wrong again, was delivered at the second attempt after a 'our system made a mistake' excuse, was just, melted choc goo, clearly left at room temperature too long, again, no one asked how it was, no one cared.
Time to depart, we had half of the bottle of sparkling water to take home. That 6-7e bottle of WATER. Which left a rather embarrassing moment in the street of being accused of 'taking their item'. You know, the bottle of water I bought.
Never ever again. Despite the service slip ups, the poor poor attention to detail or that it tends to attract mostly shorts and t shirt guests. The end result is, very very very basic food that's over priced and under delivered. As a representative of the local tourism office, and the owner of two hotels in the region, let me state; I won't make the mistake of sending a single of my customers to them. Keep...

The lunch for two that we shared at Pica Pica was a remarkable culinary experience. The appetizers and main courses were exquisite, each bite offering a symphony of flavors and an artistic presentation that delighted our palates. The quality and originality of the dishes reflect the talent and ingenuity of the Pica Pica kitchen, leaving a lasting impression and an excellent memory of this gastronomic moment.
However, our experience was marred by disappointing desserts that failed to maintain the level of excellence set by the previous courses. And the mayonnaise on the grilled vegetables spoiled the grilled vegetables as the sauce that accompanied the excellent grilled pork.
Additionally, the service was significantly below the quality of the dishes. The server clearly lacked training, both in serving wine and champagne and in providing accurate descriptions of the dishes.
Despite these shortcomings, the memory of this lunch is marked by the splendor of the appetizers and main courses, making Pica Pica a recommended destination for those seeking an extraordinary culinary experience, with the hope that the service will rise to the level of the cuisine in the...
Read moreSadly, very disappointing.
We were greeted by a friendly waitress but then had to call someone over to order drinks. 10 mins later, no drinks had arrived. The French and English menus were different (eg French menu detailed Caipirinhas and Mojitos but they weren’t on the English menu). Asked for a Magarita and was given a Negroni. I then asked again for a Margarita. A ‘Margarita’ arrived but was very poorly made with no salt or lime.
Food was OK but just OK. Not terrible but definitely not great - just a bit bland and nothing special. For example, we were given some bread which was tasty but had no butter or olive oil to accompany it so it was very dry. The taramasalata was extremely salty and served with 1 small slice of pickle which was nowhere near enough to accompany the whole dish.
After our starters, they asked if we wanted dessert and forgot about the 2 dishes we ordered for ours mains. At that point, we just left.
Definitely not worth €96 for some starters, 2 (terrible) cocktails...
