Resto Bar Le Minervois — Restaurant in Béziers

Another fairly local restaurant that we’d been recommended to and had finally got around to visiting to see what all the fuss was about.

Our first visit was on a Sunday lunchtime which we’d booked for noon. We sat outside in the open area under the parasoles across from the bar and found the welcome warm and friendly.

Siran is a small (ish) pleasant sleepy village and there always seem to be plenty of spaces to park for free nearby.

Whilst there was a menu available, on this occasion, we both opted for the Escalope de Volaille (a la creme aux champignons) as a plat at E15 followed by a pud each and ably supported by a 25cl pichet of red and a jus d’orange as well as a couple of coffees to finish.

We tried to get something to eat and they totally ignored us. No reservation? No food .Everyone was first beside us, people without reservation got a table while we were being ignored.
