Le Langoustier — Restaurant in Bastia

Unfortunately I can't share the very good reviews, either we had a bad day or the chef has changed. The staff is very friendly and the view from the terrace is very nice, so 2 stars for that. But the food however was loveless and overcooked, salty and less than average. We had langoustine with pasta (pasta too soft, sauce without refined taste and way too salty, langoustine overcooked) and the Fritto Misto plate (tuna was not fresh, the taste of the rest boring). This is my first review of a restaurant and only for the reason that the food there doesn't justify the price or the current rating of 4.3 on Google. This is despite the fact that I am happy to spend more money on food...

Nice atmosphere, good service. I wouldn’t choose anything about langouste (lobster). We chose lobster linguini for 4 person l, they basically cut one lobster in 4 and this is all you get for 40€ per person. I was lucky, I had the part of the tail, so there was two walnut size lobster in my pasta but others who get the head wasn’t that lucky. In the menu there are many different interesting options for a half of the price of the lobster pasta and they were looking good. So if you wanna eat a pasta with lobster flavor pick lobster linguini, otherwise try something more interesting that are...

Dunque #leLangoustier Ambiente unico,affacciati sul piccolo porto di Centuri fa sentire il mare in ogni portata. Servizio giusto,aspetti il giusto. Gentili e sanno l'italiano. Ti mettono a tuo agio fin da subito. Abbiamo ordinato moules a la creme,buonissime e saporite,ricche di verdure e buonissime. Poi il Royal a piramide con crudite e aragosta che abbiamo scelto. Pesce freschissimo che di più non si può. Il piatto è per due ma basta per tre. Ostriche di sapore dolce da piacere. L'aragosta leggermente passata alla griglia succosa e piena. Gamberoni crudi con le teste migliori del corpo. Due enormi granchi blu pienissimi e gustosi E poi chioccioloni,cozze ,gamberi e alghe commestibili,pomodorini e guarnizioni varie. Emozionante. Abbiamo annullato un fritto di mare misto perché andava già bene così. C'è ne siamo fatti portare due invece di tre. Croccante fino all'inverosimile. Mai stato così bene in Corsica.
