U Palmentu Centuri — Restaurant in Bastia

We had a nice experience, with great service and atmosphere. The Lobster was very well made, unfortunately we had 3/6 (not Lobster) dishes (1 fish, 2 entrecote) that was "well done". They had politely asked how we would like the entrecote and we requested medium, but got very well done. We didn't want to ruin the moment (since our kids had a great time with their food) and ask for remake (which I'm sure the restaurant will reply we should have done). When 3/6 dishes had too long time on the heat, it's fair to give the food 4/5 stars, even though we liked the place (but would maybe consider other options if we visited again).

We also got 5 different options from the dessert menu, and it was a great variety of options, all great in different ways. The chestnut cake was a bit dryer than expected, but all the others was better than expected 👌

Not consistent. In our visit, food was not fresh. If it was good - maybe a fair price: 160,00 euro for three glass of beer, four salads, two raw fish plate, anchovies and boiled eggs with bottarga - this one we'll done and tasteful. I was asked to pay cash - no receipts! Each of the mentioned failures could be accepted separately, but all together, it ruined our experience. Maybe tourists should learn to send food back when it does not meet...

Franchement, un très très bon restaurant. Je m'y suis rendu avec mes proches en ce 16 avril. Comme il y avait un vent froid, le propriétaire nous a proposé une table plus abritée, sur la même terrasse. Le serveur était vraiment cool, malgré la pression il prenait le temps de bien mentionner ce qu'il fallait mentionner, et d'expliquer quand c'était nécessaire. Le propriétaire, un mec chaleureux, a discuté amicalement avec un de mes proches.

Au delà du service et de l'accueil, niveau nourriture, on a été vraiment bien servi: 300 grammes d'entrecôte, bien saignante, avec son petit lit de salade verte, quatre tenders croustillants à souhait et un Paris-Brest(le dernier !) eurent tôt fait de venir à bout de mon estomac. (pourtant, je suis un vrai goinfre !)

Bref, le propriétaire nous a fait cadeau, alors que nous nous apprêtions à partir après avoir payé l'addition, de plusieurs paquets de canistrelli, qui sont honnêtement délicieux.

Je recommande de fou si vous passez par la pointe du Cap. C'est une très bonne adresse qui, malgré les circonstances économiques et sociales du moment, sait se maintenir d'une année sur l'autre, et saura vous apporter joie et plaisir gastronomique lors de...
