Auberge des Vignes — Restaurant in Beaune

We dined here as a family with two young children while visiting Beaune. They were one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday evening.

Our meal was fantastic, as was the atmosphere of dining right next to a vineyard and in view of Pommard up the hill.

Two of us had le menu bourguigon which was three courses of delicious plates, and very reasonably priced (€26.50). The service was also excellent as was the wine.

An added benefit was the outdoor space where you could dine and/or sit to enjoy the sunset. We were also able to let our 2yo get out some energy after a 2+hr dinner by taking her outside.

Highly recommend for anyone (especially families)...

What an absolute gem this little place is. It’s conveniently located with a sunset backdrop over the hills of vineyards. The host was incredibly accommodating and attentive. The food arrived promptly and 5 star. I had the beef bourguignon which was beautifully tender and flavoursome, my husband enjoyed a perfectly cooked chateaubriand in a red wine reduction. Lovely owner and staff, the restaurant is next to the vineyards w outdoor seating and nice ambience. The a la carte food was actually quite good. My beef bourguignon from the menu was quite a disappointment, 80 percent sauce and very few pieces of meat, almost no carrots, pearl onions or mushroom. The owner offered to add more meat and potato. That was nice. But still the taste is not that impressive. Just avoid beef...
