Interesting place but it did seem to lack some soul. There was no other people when we were there and we were served by some really nice and sweet waiters but they did not have a lot of knowledge about the wines. They spoke good English and were very good at talking french in a slow and clear manner which was good for us french novices. We wanted to drink a glass of Puligny Montrachet in Puligny Montrachet and luckily for us Maison Chanzy was open. What a wonderful and hospitable experience. A great place. We went at Maison Chanzy for a diner, 4 courses. Only one menue, but a great experience. We have been impressed by the quality and the tast of the food. Of course, the wines were excellent as well, with good suggestion from the team. A place to discover, very close to Beaune, in a wonderfull area with well restored building. For sure a place to go !
