Restaurant Clos Prieur — Restaurant in Beaune

I visited this restaurant with my wife last August. We had two bottles of wine and dinner. Before we finished, staff came to us and asked whether we had finished and they could removed dishes at each course(as I remember 4 times). And before we finished wine, they brought the bill. I spent 200euros for dinner because I wanted to present very special dinner to my wife. It was first tour only with wife without family. but it was very disappointed. I felt that they wanted to let customers go out as soon as they can. Definitely not romantic. You would be surprised at wine list price as well. And I saw asian group tourists(their speaking sounded like Japanese) came for dinner, staffs treated them like kids. Unpreasant experience. Very expensive and famous restaurant but even one star...

Amazing location in a real castle. The quality of the Chef is superior to the service. We received two house cocktails where they spilled the drink on the table and I had to ask for a napkin to dry the base of the glasses. Also I had to ask from butter three times to only receive it after I finished my meal. The kitchen closes at 21:15. Guests who arrived at 21:16 (I'm not kidding) were refused to the restaurant and invited to eat at the bar. That being said: I would still recommend to visit this restaurant but come early in the evening for hopefully...

Top du top !! J'ai fait une remarque au serveur, concernant l'assaisonnement : pâtes un peu trop salé et viande un peu trop épicée, mais ça reste vraiment du détail, puisque l'ensemble des mets étaient vraiment exquis.

En cuisine : les mets sont "wahou", à couper le souffle. Pour le service : serveuses / serveurs de très bonnes formations. Discrets, serviables, présents quand il y en a besoin, ils font attention à vous, au premier coup d'œil.

Nous étions à l'hôtel, du coup, le restaurant était tout proche, et heureusement, car, malgré la faim qui nous habitait, nous avons été repu (arrivé à satiété). Nous étions ravis de pouvoir faire une promenade digestive, dans le joli parc à proximité, puis de pouvoir rejoindre notre grand lit, pour dormir paisiblement.
