AUBERGE DU PONT — Restaurant in Bellac

Visited this restaurant twice. Found it by chance passing by. Arrived a bit early for the 7.30pm food service - warmly welcomed to take a seat with a beer and wait for 7.30pm. Enjoyed the Menu du Jour 14€30 both times. Great price for a starter of coleslaw, main course (first time I had beef bourginon with pasta, second visit I had roast beef slices with potatoes dauphinoise), cheese course, dessert and coffee. Excellent place.We were suffering from the canicul & I saw a photo of their veal escalope and started salivating it looked so delicious.I called in my terrible french & they were very helpful. Told me they were Air Conditioned so we went as soon as we could. Very tasty dishes, well presented and not expensive. Great atmosphere.

Alors je peux comprendre que ce n’est pas un resto routier , mais j’appelle ce matin pour savoir si il est ouvert et j’ai eu ma réponse assez vite car Mr a décroché et m’a répondu de manière positive , jusque-là pas de soucis . Je lui dis donc que je vais m’arrêter prendre mon p’tit déjeuner et prendre une douche en même temps , c’est là que cela se gâte . Mr m’a répondu que seul les personnes mangeant au restaurant pouvais prendre une douche ! Je pense que vu les conditions météo de ces derniers jours il aurait pu faire un petit effort, malheureusement l’humain visiblement n’existe plus ! Donc pour conclure je me suis arrêté quelques kilomètres plus loin chez son confrère j’ai pu prendre mon p’tit déjeuner et ma douche . Mrs ne vous étonnez pas si les chauffeurs ne s’arrêtent plus chez vous et que vous mettez la clés sous la porte avec de tels comportements. Bien...
