Restaurant Brasserie des Terreaux — Restaurant in Belley

Lovely experience. It was quite nice outside, so sat outside until one of our elderly guests got a bit cold and I asked the staff it it were fine to have a seat inside instead. They were fine with it and sat us in a lovely corner. Generally staff was very accomodating and very friendly.

The food was absolutely lovely and rather big portions as well. I ordered the steak tartar as I haven't had that in ages, I'd say the portions were twice (if not more) than what I am used to, with chips and a bit of salad. Tasted absolutely delicious. We also had a caesar salad which was enourmous and a rather nice filet steak. Our daughter had the snails, though she was slightly disappointed as they didn't come in their shell/snail house, but in edible pastry shells, never the less she really liked and finished them all. I do like it salty, but for me the chips/french fries were a bit on the salty side, but tasted lovely nevertheless.

It looks really lovely inside, well maintained and the toilets are spacious and clean.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Looking forward to our next visit. :-)

(English visitor) - I stopped here as I was staying near Belley for one night as part of a larger road trip through Europe to Greece. It was the only restaurant I could find that was open on a Monday evening and I’m glad that it was. Totally gorgeous atmosphere and superb food. They always say to eat where the locals eat and that certainly was the case in this instance. Through some broken English and broken French we managed to order food and drinks and the staff were exceptionally friendly. We started off with one waitress but ended up with another one who could speak English better than we could speak French. I didn’t catch her name but she is a true credit to the restaurant (give that girl a raise!). I had the Angus beef for main (very good!) and the crème brûlée for dessert (very very good). A little on the pricey side of things but I’m finding that is the case with most of France (the bits I’ve been too so far anyway). All in all a lovely visit and good food. Definitely...

J'étais passé tant de fois devant cette brasserie Puis un concours de circonstances m a amené à réserver puis aller y manger.

Et, là, surprise de découvrir cet espace, Sensation de cocon, Où l'on peut revivre par les reproductions sur les murs Le passé de Belley en images, Très agréable de pouvoir découvrir cela 🌞

L'accueil est professionnel et bienveillant, Je suis venue avec ma fille handicapée lourd Et la place la plus agréable pour elle lui a été réservé Elle a été vraiment prise en compte et cela montre l'humanité des personnes à mon sens 🌞

Les végétariens trouveront des plats et sont bienvenus 🌞

Et quand la salade arrive ... Wahou 🙂 Quelle quantité 🙂 Quelle belle présentation 😔 Bonheur et surprise du regard déjà Et, en plus, c'est super bon ❤

Les cafés et thés gourmands sont généreux et délicieux 🙂

Bref, je vous encourage à pousser la porte de ce restaurant où je n'imaginais pas le trésor de pause repas que j'allais découvrir 🌞 L'extérieur ne le dévoile pas et cela reserve la surprise finalement 🙂

Et, tous le personnel est vraiment efficace et agréable tout à la fois 🌞

Je vous le confie, ce serait dommage que vous ne tentiez pas cette expérience un jour ou l'autre 🙂

Et, oui, un détail qui compte, ils sont ouverts toute la journée :) Vous pouvez donc arriver et repartir quand bon vous semble pour le déjeuner et c'est vraiment un plus...
