I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant L'Auberge, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire evening. The ambiance was simply exquisite, with elegant décor and soft lighting creating an intimate atmosphere perfect for any occasion. As for the food, every dish was a culinary masterpiece, expertly prepared with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavor. Booked online to secure a reservation. Lots of availability (it says when it's waiting list only or full) and put 100eu on card to secure it. Turned up to an empty restaurant and was turned away by the maitre d who offered to find a space before realising we weren't guests of the hotel and then laughed at us and told us to leave. Waited 30 mins for a taxi which hotel kindly sorted. Paid 80eu to turn up and then find somewhere else. We were onsite for 45 mins and no one was in the "full" restaurant the entire time. They shouldn't offer an external booking system if they don't want non residents booking. Really disappointing and expensive experience...

Had such high hopes for this place… you would think sharing a kitchen with a Michelin starred restaurant would guarantee success but it does not. The place is beautiful, we stayed at the hotel and wanted to give it a try.

Salad was very nice, good wine selection, only two servers so it was a little slow service. The big let down was the main course. We got the big steak for 2.. the meat was tough, even the server struggled to slice it. Seasoned ok but with too much pepper, it was simply not the right way to cook that type of beef.
