Altitude 2000 — Restaurant in Bonneville

What a terrible experience! No only we had to wait 20 minuted to being offered drinks and more than 1 hour for food, when it finally came I was served 1/2 meat - they cooked the meat, cut it and served half on my plate! I discretely went to the waitress and let her know the situation. She promptly came and collect my plate - just for the manager to come blasting a minute later, plate in hand, ACCUSING ME of cutting the meat myself, saying the chef would never serve it like this. I have never seen such behaviour and was never treated with that much disrespect as in this restaurant. To add to that, the food served was either dry (burgers) or soggy (chips). The panoramic shot of the Mont-Blanc massif is simply breathtaking. The white snow, the blue sky, the clean mountain air! The staff is fast, comfortably bilingual ( English and French) and ready to help you with your order, your payment, etc. The place can sit a ton of people, and still: be ready for a long queue on the weekends and winter holidays if you want to have your lunch outside on a sunny day! The food is honest, the only fancy things on the menu are the desserts. Not recommended. Took forever to be seated - and we are out of season Waiting to place orders took long time. Drinks took long time turned out the waiter wished to collect drinks for multiple places before servicering. Same with food. We got the food same time as another table. Result was of course that some of our dishes were semi cold. Totally boring and tasteless food. Lacked basics like salt. I am sure the chef did not taste this.
