Grand Cret — Restaurant in Bonneville

An all-round gorgeous experience☀️ After around an hour hiking up we arrived at this restaurant with a beautiful terrace looking on a stunning view with some wine. We then moved inside, which has such a lovely wooden interior and huge windows looking across the mountains. All of this whilst enjoying delicious food. We delighted in a trio of tomatoes with burrata, and melon and ham salad for starter. Followed by mains of tuna steak in a nicoise salad, duck with a delicious teriyaki sauce and potatoes, and cheesy vegetable pasta. Finished off by sharing an extremely yummy tiramisu and berry pavlova - and of course a shot of genepe! Will definitely ski down in winter, and be back...

An absolute delight - the food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the views stunning. We walked to the restaurant from Vercland, but get there however you can - it is well worth it!

The menu has something for everyone; it isn’t extensive but I much prefer somewhere that concentrates on a few dishes done well. This is certainly the case at Grand Cret. Plus sublime puddings and a good selection of drinks and wines too.

Un des plus beaux endroits de la vallée, une ambiance chaleureuse un accueil comme si on était de la famille!! merci pour tout ça! La piste étant fermée, nous sommes descendus en luge, ça se fait malgré les conditions sportives (piste non damée de la saison). Même à pieds depuis le haut du télécabine, ce doit être a peine a 30mn (un peu sportif mais accessible) et pareil pour la descente depuis le restaurant jusqu'au bas. (nous avons pu le faire en luge aussi jusqu'en bas, par le chemin) En tout cas ça fait déjà une super balade, si on ne veut (ou si on ne peut) pas le faire en ski; Et ce restaurant mérite le détour!! Pareil si vous avez des raquettes, un peu en dessous du TS il y a un petit chemin assez visible (ne pas confondre avec la piste vtt le chemin est 20m en dessous) La nourriture comme le lieu propose autre chose que ce que l'on peut trouver habituellement, c'est tres bon, la présentation extrêmement soignée.
