Having got to know the owner/operator of my favourite snack spot in Les Gets, La Cabushe is still my first choice of ski stop for a quick Frites and a Coffee. With the recent introduction of Soya Milk and new items on the menu every visit, I highly recommend a stop here on a sunny day; Grabbing a deck chair if you can! There is both warm indoor space for the worst of Winter Blizzards, or plenty of tables and deck chairs for some ski alpine tanning sessions. The drinks and food menus is varied and flavoursome. Toilets are available. I have read complaints regarding the pricing, but from what I can tell, the same team have been scaling the mountain in snow, rain and wind no matter what the conditions are from when this was still a 1 person shack to now a fully fledged ski stop. Therefore I think these prices are justified, although still open to the occasional stand up routine ;) A great choice.

The chips are outstanding and lovely views. The chips are the carved out ones with loads of mustard mayo or ketchup. Cappuccino was also good. This place is at the top of the new lift La Charniaz, just along from Nauchets. No longer have to pedal to Les Gets from the top of Pleney, follow the signs to La Charniaz. Great intermediate run on the way.

Waiting time is insane, employees work very slow and inefficiënt. Ordering took 45 minutes and then 15 more before receiving our food. Lot of customers left. Shame because the location is very nice.

AVOID, painfully slow. It took 20 mins to order a plate of chips and then a further 30 mins for them to appear. Just two staff working very slowly. It’s also very expensive.. 6€ for 25cl beer, 12€ for 50cl....
