Restaurant Chez Alcide — Restaurant in Bonneville

The only good point about this place is the view. Doesn’t worth to come here at all for food or good service. The first minute we arrived (it was very hard to acces the place btw), we’re not really welcomed as  the person in the restaurant was « alone ». Then he agreed to accept us. There was only one table booked for the whole restaurant. When we were waiting to choose something from the menu, he came to our table and declared that he can propose only one same dish for us all... two adults and two kids... just one dish available (( It was Crozet (pasta with cheese and pepper). That’s it. He didn’t even care if we agree or not. For us, it was too late to change the place: by the end of the day, the kids and us felt tired and hungry. The dish was nothing impressive at all! You take pasta, you add cheese and pepper and you get it 😟 The culminating moment was when my two kids and I went to restroom. « The person from the restaurant, always the same one, was knocking the door saying « You’ve been long time in the toilet ». Without seeing me, he shouted through the door: «And you don’t even have a mask on you », when I did really have... such a disappointing experience. I don’t advise anyone...

Top quality host and staff. They had a lot of patience and were very helpfull to let us experience the local products, which we enjoyed! A gem in Cordon! Thank you Sir for the good time, amazing food...
